Quilts on the Flood Wall

There’s a cool new addition to the flood wall murals in downtown Paducah. The first of a series of quilt themed murals has been unveiled. Corona II: Solar Eclipse was revealed just prior to the AQS QuiltWeek® kick-off ceremony last week. It's 10 feet tall by 100 inches wide and located right outside the Carroll Convention Center. iLove this stunning and creative public art.

Liminal Identities

There’s a new exhibition opening at the YAC (Yeiser Art Center). Liminal Identities features recent work by artists Sarah Ahmad and Jerry Phillips. The joint presentation of works on paper, installation, and fiber art carries forward the artists’ inquiries into the formation of identity through transcultural experiences. iLove art with a vision.
