Ringing in 2018 - Live Music, Art, and More!

Are you ready to say goodbye to 2017? Looking for some live music to dance the night away? Or a more reflective activity such as a yoga class? iList has compiled a list of some of the best events going on to help you celebrate with like-minded individuals. iLove It when I can ring in a New Year with friends!

The Wastelander’s New Year’s Eve Show

The event will run through January 6, 2018, but the opening reception will be on December 31, 2017 from 6-9pm at the Yeiser Art Center located in downtown Paducah.

Every year, the Wastelander’s hold a New Year’s Eve art show and party. The Paducah Wastelanders are a group of artists from in and around Paducah.  The group was founded in 2007 by a group of area artists who had been here prior to the “Artist Relocation Program” and the renovation of the Lower Town area of Paducah into an artists’ community. They’re excited to bring you a huge selection of local art by local artists. Join them and welcome the New Year! Free refreshments will be provided.

Silent Brigade Distillery

This New Year's Eve Party is the one you've been waiting for! Party the night away while listening to the band New Suede. The event will include a countdown to 2018 New Year and a toast to the New Year. Finger foods, noise-makers, champagne, and a killer band are all happening. Tickets are $15 dollars and can be purchased by phone 270.709.3242 or in person at the Distillery which is located at 426 Broadway.

Resolve to Evolve at True North Yoga

Is getting in better shape on your agenda for 2018? Then join this New Year’s Eve at True North Yoga. They are on the second floor of 3121 Broadway, the historic Coke Plant. Come get your yoga on from 8-11pm.

Give your New Year's resolutions a yogic twist ... Set a San Kalpa and infuse the New Year with positive change.  At this mindful New Year’s Eve class, teacher Crystal Bailey will guide you through a one hour class appropriate for beginners as well as seasoned yogis. Class will conclude with a 30 minute Yoga Nidra. This will be a calm and reflective way to ring in the New Year. (And, you can always go downstairs afterwards and join in the fun at Dry Grounds!

Fat Moe’s

Want to dance until way past midnight? Then spend your New Year’s Eve at Fat Moe’s New Year’s Eve party from 9pm-3am! Get ready for a show with Paducah's party band Throwing Copper performing live on their main stage, along with DJ Styles bringing in 2018 on the bar side. Free party favors and a champagne toast at midnight will be provided. The cost is $10 per person at door. Be early to get a good seat!

Dry Ground Brewing NYE w/ Solid Rock’it Boosters & The Savage Radley

Drink in the New Year at your friendly neighborhood craft brewery! Lots of beer specials, and live music from your Solid Rock’it Boosters and The Savage Radley beginning at 8pm. These two bands never fail to please – come early as there sure to be a big crowd.

New Year’s Eve at the Smedley Yeiser

It’s been a great year for the newest Paducah event venue. They’re going to serve drinks and have a big time from 7pm-1am. This will be the biggest little party in Paducah. Suitable for 21 years of age and up please. Come early and stay late!

Barkley Bash 2017

Dance the night away at Lake Barkley State Resort. Ring in the New Year with friends and family. Event package includes overnight lodging in a lake view room, dinner buffet for two, tickets to this year’s party featuring live music from the acclaimed Nashville band. Overnight package is $199.95 per couple. Dinner and Dance tickets are $120/couple. Dance only tickets are $75.
