We're Dreaming of a White Christmas

Although our temperatures are unseasonably warm for December, Paducah Parks Services is ready for some snow! At least enough for you to be able to get creative and make a sculpture. Why? Because the annual Snow Sculpture Contest doesn’t end until March 31, 2016!

How to be Part of the Christmas Parade

Everybody loves a parade and there wouldn’t be one without fun decorated floats and lots of vehicles. Paducah Parks Services is gearing up for the 2015 Christmas Parade. If you or your organization is interested in riding in it, Parks is sharing the official rules and regulations for participants.

iList love Christmas so we’re excited that Paducah Parks Services wants to make sure everyone is in the holiday spirit! On Saturday, December 5 head downtown for the Christmas Parade, and Candy Cane hunt. Oh, and find that ugly sweater for the fun run!

Veterans Day Essay Contest Winners

Veterans Day is today. Paducah Parks, along with the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR), is helping to commemorate it by co-sponsoring a Veterans Day Poster and Essay Contest. This contest was open to all K-12 students and we’re proud to share the winners.
