The Murray Art Guild Holiday Sale is pleased to be hosting the 36th annual Holiday Sale. It will be held on November 17 - 19 at the Robert O. Miller Conference Center located at 201 S. 4th St. in Murray. On Friday the 17th, they will have a pre-sale for MAG members only from 4 - 5:30 pm, then open to the public 5:30 - 7:30 pm. Saturday, November 18, hours will be 9am - 5pm. Sunday hours will be 12pm - 4pm.
This annual arts and crafts sale features locally handmade items for sale. Jewelry, wood, ceramics, woven goods, and variety of items for you and those you love.
Vendors include fibers (hand woven, quilts, needle felted, knit and crochet) presented by Allison Prucell, Eileen Wirsig, Janfe Trigg, Janneen Sutton, Joan Claborn, Kay Bates, Megan Davis, & Nancy Alderice; jewelry (beaded, boho, silver) showcased by Melissa Drake, Rosemary Kandt, Cheri DeGraff, Jamie Ealey & Mary Buck; wood (turned woodworking) brought to you by Squire Babcock & Back Kerr; ceramics (mugs, bowls berry bowls and more,) made by Josh and Justine Riley & Reid Parish; book arts (blank books and journals, photo albums) by Terry Joe Sledd & Justine Riley; handcrafted one-of-a-kind cards by Denise Knoebel; paintings by Margaret Merida; and handmade soaps from Janeen Sutton.
"This sale of fine arts and crafts is a Murray favorite shopping experience. The sale supports local artists and the Murray Art Guild alike,” MAG Executive Director Debi Henry Danielson told me. “The Guild is a nonprofit committed to providing quality visual arts experiences for the area. There will be over 20 artists represented, with artwork for every budget. This year’s event includes many favorites and newcomers alike. Available items include beaded jewelry, artist books, pottery, hand-wovens and wood turned bowls. The indoor sale includes door prizes and giveaways!”
