For 28 years, Community Options Inc. has developed housing and employment programs for people with disabilities. Their first Cupid’s Chase 5K took place in Princeton, New Jersey in 2009 and 350 runners took part.
On Saturday, February 10, Community Options Inc., of Paducah will be a part of the 10th annual Cupid’s Chase 5K celebration. This year's Paducah Cupid’s Chase 5K will be held at the Downtown Paducah Riverfront for 9 am. All proceeds from the Cupid’s Chase 5K will go directly towards its mission; providing housing and employment support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Participants will receive an “Available” or “Unavailable” shirt to wear for the race in hopes of sparking a love connection, as well as a finisher medal, a goody bag and refreshments. Runners, walkers, and rollers (baby strollers and wheelchairs) are all welcome to join and help raise funds. Finisher medals are guaranteed while supplies last!
