Why Speed Dating?

Because you’re busy and first impressions count. Who wants to waste precious dating time when there’s no attraction? With speed dating, you talk to someone for two minutes and move on. Like what you see? If they like you too, you can follow-up later!

How it Works

Speed dating works round-robin style. We’ll seat the women at tables and ask the men to rotate from one woman to the next. Yeah, men, we thought you’d like that!

Just Two Minutes. You’ll spend just two minutes with each person. So even if you’re immediately not attracted, you can be pleasant for two minutes, right? Are you a little shy? No worries. We’ll have icebreaker questions at each table to help you get the getting-to-know you conversation going.

Check! (Or Not). The women will have cards with all the men’s names listed with check boxes next to each. Men will have cards with all the women’s names and check boxes listed. If you like the person you’re meeting, check the box next to his or her name. To avoid undue pressure or potential hurt feelings, though, don’t check (or not check) right in front of the person you’re talking with. Just do it as you’re preparing to meet the next person.

Bingo! At the end of the evening, you’ll turn your cards over to the lovely Laura K. Laura will go through them and, if the same people you’ve checked on your card have checked you on their cards, bingo! You’ve made some matches! Laura will contact everyone with the contact scoop so you can follow up on your own time. Report back to us, though! We’ll want to know how it goes!

Are You Game?
So you get the general idea. And Laura K will guide you through it all that evening, chinking her cocktail ice cubes at each two-minute interval.
