F.A.C.E. Makeup Artistry Beauty Egg Hunt

Erin Hendley is the brains behind the annual Beauty Egg Hunt. Hendley is the owner of F.A.C.E. Makeup Artistry and a professional make-up artist. She wanted to find a way to use beauty in a fund raising event and created this special a festive egg hunt. It take place on the Carson Center lawn in Downtown Paducah and this year will be held on April 15.

”We’re fortunate to have great relationships with many beauty brands,” said Hendley. “Some of the amazing lines you will find during the hunt include F.A.C.E. Makeup Artistry, SEPHORA, MAC Cosmetics, Polish Studio, Beauty Blender, Urban Decay, Kat Von D and more!”

“Of course beauty products can be a little big for standard Easter eggs so we've thought about the logistics. If the beauty product doesn’t fit inside an egg, a description of the product will be included. Bring this description to our storefront, 125 Kentucky Avenue, to collect your prize right after the hunt. (If you can’t claim your swag immediately after Egg Hunt, keep your description and redeem within seven days after hunt. We will keep items secure for you. Be sure to be on the lookout for the Golden Egg!

The funds raised from the Beauty Egg Hunt contribute to a fabulous philanthropic organization – the Look Good Feel Better program - that helps cancer patient’s deal with appearance-based side effects of treatment. Tickets are just $25 per person so, even if you find only three eggs, the product value will exceed the ticket cost. This year’s hunt has a fabulous list of beauty sponsors and participants get to acquire new makeup products for a minimal cost. What a deal and great way to support the cause!

Look Good Feel Better

Look Good Feel Better is a non-medical, brand-neutral public service program that teaches beauty techniques to people with cancer to help them manage the appearance-related side effects of cancer treatment. The program includes lessons on skin and nail care, cosmetics, wigs and turbans, accessories and styling, helping people with cancer to find some normalcy in a life that is by no means normal.

Thousands of volunteer beauty professionals support Look Good Feel Better. All are trained and certified by the Look Good Feel Better Foundation and the Professional Beauty Association at local, statewide, and national workshops. Other volunteer health care professionals and individuals also give their time to the program.

The program is open to all women with cancer who are undergoing chemotherapy, radiation, or other forms of treatment.
