iLove It

Last year, local dance teacher Marci Paris had a brilliant idea. She organized a flash mob to perform the zombie dance from Michael Jackson’s hit “Thriller”. It was held in downtown Paducah at the end of the annual Zombie Walk. The hugely successful flash mob raised funds for the Family Service Society (FSS). It’s back again this year! iLove It when the dead come out to dance!

The Friends of Clarks River has partnered with many local agencies, businesses and organizations to host the second annual Wildlife, Heritage and Outdoor Festival (WHO Festival). This fun day is packed with ways to celebrate and promote the outdoor legacy unique to our area. WHO Fest - iLove It when we can celebrate the beauty of the outdoors!

We love the arts and making art with fiber is something everyone can do. The Fall Fiber Festival celebrates all things fiber - weaving, spinning, paper making, knitting, quilting and more! Come down to this Celebration Saturday at the Paducah Farmers Market on September 15 - they’ll even have sheep you can pet! iLove It!

The biggest little picnic in western Kentucky is back for its 58th year! The St. John’s Picnic is a local tradition, but this year, organizers have added a 5K and a free fireworks display. Fun music, cash raffles, kids entertainment - wow, you better plan to spend the entire day there. The St. John’s Annual Picnic - iLoveIt!

The Murray Ice Cream Festival is back for the 8th year on the Court Square, but it's actually the 19th year since it began. The 2018 Murray Ice Cream Festival on the Court Square in Downtown Murray is Friday and Saturday, Sept. 7-8. There is fun for the entire family and ice cream of course. I scream, you scream, and iLove It!

14th Annual Paducah Lifeline Ministries and Ladies Living Free Banquet is coming up. This organization helps women to overcome their problems spiritually, emotionally, and physically. The Banquet is their annual celebration and a major fundraising event. iLove It when I can help other learn to live free!

The Second Annual Knock Cancer Out of the Park will take place Saturday on at the Baptist Health Softball Fields located at McCracken County High School. This fun-filled day of softball raises money for the American Cancer Society. Beating cancer with each home run – iLove it!
