Each year the Four Rivers Ballroom Association presents their annual Star Ball. For 2019 this fundraiser will benefit Family Service Society. Expect to have a groovy time as the Star ball is going retro and channeling your inner 1970’s vibe. 70's threads are suggested. The fun starts at 6.30 pm on Saturday, March 16 at the Paducah Convention Center located at 415 Park Street, in Paducah.

Disco the night away to the live music provided by the Nate Jackson Band from Nashville, Tennessee. Heavy hors d’oeurves will be provided by Artisan Kitchen and there will also be a cash bar. Collaborative painting with the dance crowd will be facilitated by Amy Taylor Nolan.

Michelle Campbell - the Executive Director of the Paducah-McCracken County Convention & Expo Center. She loves what she does as well as enjoying the excitement and challenges that come with the job. Michelle is the mom of Emily (11) and Cullen (7). She grew up in Puerto Rico and is very proud of the culture, loves the food and dance, which is why you’ll see that in her dance at the Star Ball. Michelle’s dance partner will be Brad Haas.

Rhiannon Jenkins is a Treasury Management & Payment Consultant for Western Kentucky and Southern Illinois at US Bank. Rhiannon serves on the Steering Committee for Paducah Young Professionals a Reading Pal at Reidland Elementary. She is also a current member of Leadership Paducah’s Class #32. Her dance partner will be Butch Creson.

Megan Carter is a stylist at Fringe Salon. Megan is the proud mother of two wonderful children, Hannah (11) and Ryder (8). Megan is excited and honored to exercise her 18 years of ballroom dance experience. Her dance partner will be Jack Johnson.

Ricky and Sue Greenwell – Ricky is the Agency Manager of McCracken County Farm Bureau Insurance at 1600 Broadway in Paducah. Sue is a partner at Williams, Williams & Lentz, CPA’s. Ricky and Sue are blessed with five children and ten wonderful grandchildren.

Whitney Denson is an attorney with McMurry & Livingston, PLLC. She is a graduate of the University of Alabama (Roll Tide!) and the University of Kentucky College of Law. Whitney and her husband, Chase, are proud parents of a daughter, Hallie. Whitney grew up dancing competitively and will partner with Jay Brasher.

Along with being Paducah’s Mayor, Brandi Harless is the CEO and Co-Founder of PreventScripts, a software business that helps primary care increase their revenue by helping keep patients healthy. The Mayor enjoys family time, hiking and a good cup of coffee. Our Mayor will be dancing with Dr. Chris Speary.

Vince Carter is the owner and principal broker of  The Vince Carter Team - a local real estate group.  Vince and his wife, Courtney, are the grateful parents of Daisy Lynn (6) and Caroline (1). Vince is passionate about entrepreneurship and men's ministry. His dance partner will be Terrie White.

Angie Berry Wood is a Ballard County native and the assistant principal at Ballard County Elementary school. She loves being a mom of 2 Connor (7), Allee (2) and traveling with her husband Steven. And of course, she loves to dance with her favorite dance partner, her dad, Bob Berry! 

Bob Berry, also a Ballard County native is a former educator and has been a farmer for over 60 years. He will be retiring the tractor and combine this year and looks forward to spending more time in the golf cart.

In the 20+ years that Toni Stricklin and her family have resided in Paducah, they have been active in the medical community, church and school activities, Boy Scouts, and several charitable organizations. Toni has been blessed with a successful real estate career for the past 15 years. She is dancing with Ashley Thurman.
