Easter is fast approaching. This year its April 21 and that means that children all over our area will want to hunt for eggs. There are so many options for egg hunts and Easter activities and they start as early as next week. We’ve compiled a list to make planning your Easter egg hunts easier. iPlay at all the Egg hunts!

Tuesday, April 9

The Paducah Parks & Recreation Department will hold an Eater Eggstravaganza on Tuesday, April 9. The free egg hunt will feature 15,000 candy-filled eggs spread throughout Noble Park in Paducah. Registration begins promptly at 5 pm in front of the Noble Park Pool building.

You can also join in the annual tradition of the Easter Egg Hunt at Calvert City Golf and Country Club. The fun starts at 10am. $10 for each adults and the kids are free - rain or shine!

Saturday, April 13

First Christian Church of Paducah is hosting a free community Easter egg hunt with a special appearance by the Easter Bunny! They’ll have candy, toys, and balloon animals galore. Everyone is welcome. The church is located at 415 Audubon Drive, Paducah.

Lone Oak UMC is located at 3835 Old US Highway 45 South, in Paducah. Their egg hunt will take place at 1 pm. Bring your own basket and join in a fun afternoon. They’ll be serving hot dogs, chips, cookies, popcorn and drinks.

The Mayfield Graves County YMCA will be hosting the annual Easter Egg Hunt at 10 am. The Easter Bunny will be on hand for the kids to meet. There will be two hunts available for your children. The first hunt is for ages 6 years and under and will take place on the front lawn of the YMCA. The second hunt is for ages 7-9 years old and will take place on the back lawn of the YMCA. The hunts will start no later than 10:05 am, so get there early! You can RSVP for this Hunt HERE.

Join West End Baptist Church in Paducah for a fun morning of hunting Easter eggs. Children through 5th grade are invited. Participants will need to bring their own containers. The church is located at 324 South 28th Street.

Sunday, April 14

Flint Baptist Church in Murray is hosting a community wide Easter egg hunt at Noon. This will follow their Easter worship at 11 am and Fellowship Potluck. Families and Children Pre-K -Elementary School are invited to participate in a full morning of Easter fun.

Saturday, April 20

Chief Cornerstone Baptist Church of Mayfield will hold a Glow in the Dark Easter egg hunt.  The church is located at 5772 St. Rte. 464 in Mayfield and the event begins at 10.am inside the Family Life Center. All the activities are indoors.

10:30am - 12:30pm. Friendship Baptist Church in Paducah will have an Egg Hunt and Cookout. The church is located at 146 S. Friendship Road. Join Friendship Family Ministry as they sing songs, hunt some eggs and then eat lunch. The free event is for kids 5th grade and under.

Immanuel Baptist Church on Buckner Lane in Paducah has its annual Egg hunt on Saturday in the gym from 10 - 11am.

Lake Chem Community Federal Credit Union will host one of the largest Easter egg hunts in the area at Mike Miller Park in Benton. The fun starts at 12.30 pm and activities will end at 2.30 pm. With fields designated for kids from newborn to twelve, and even a special needs field, there is fun for the whole family here! Meet the Easter Bunny who will be at the gazebo to take pictures with children at 12:30 pm and then the hunt will begin promptly at 2 pm. Each field will have special prize eggs, so be sure to check all of the eggs before you leave. You will be able to claim the prizes at the main pavilion by the gazebo. This event is free to the public.

Patti's Settlement Easter Egg hunt is back at the Settlement. Age groups will be divided up and the Easter Bunny will be hopping around for photos and fun! The Easter egg hunt will begin promptly at 11 am. Everyone is invited! Join the fun Saturday, April 20. The Settlement Shops will be open.

Trinity United Methodist Church is hosting a Glow In The Dark Egg Hunt for grades 6 – 12 on the hill at 6125 Blandville Road. Free deserts will be served after the hunt.

Want to make a day trip on Saturday? Bring your favorite Easter basket and get ready for a fun-filled day at the Easter Egg Hunt on the grounds of Discovery Park. This year, there will be 30,000 eggs plus a larger area on the lawn for children up to the age of 12 to hunt. There is a schedule of events for the day, so be sure to arrive early for a great experience. It is free to attend or participate in the egg hunt with your park admission. Members get in free. Each age category has a certain time to hunt, so check out the schedule below to see what time you will need to have your little bunny here. 1:30 p.m. – Special Edition: This egg hunt is designed for children with disabilities that might benefit from extra support and accommodations. We encourage children with disabilities to participate in whichever egg hunt they feel more comfortable with - even both! 2 pm – Ages 2 and under; 2:15 pm – Ages 3 and 4; 2:30 pm – Ages 5 to 7; 2:45 pm – Ages 8 to 12.

Easter Sunday - Sunday, April 21

There will be a free Easter egg hunt at the Free Spirit Bikers Church, 2380 John L. Puryear Drive, Paducah. The Hunt will be held after church services at noon and is open to toddlers through 6th Grade.

Trinity United Methodist Church also has its annual Easter Egg Hunt that day, from 11 am -12:30 pm. Babies  and toddlers through 5th grade will have a fun time hunting for candy-filled eggs. Groups are divided by grade for everyone's safety and fun. Bring your basket and find some of the 7,000 eggs then join them for a free lunch!

Lake Barkley State Resort Park in Cadiz will shower the fields with over 3,000 eggs in their Egg-ceptional Egg Hunt. The Easter Bunny arrives at the fitness center at 2:30 pm and the egg hunt starts at 3 pm at the fitness center. From toddlers to teenagers, bring your baskets and gather some egg-ceptional goodies. Employees of Lake Barkley State Park and Friends of Lake Barkley SRP, Inc. sponsor this egg hunt. The egg hunt will be moved indoors if there is bad weather.
