The Carson Center in Paducah is raising some much needed funds to support their educational programming. They are holding their first 5K Run/1K Walk on October 27. The event includes treats and food. Registration begins at 1pm and the event starts at 2pm. This will be a fun family event where everyone can dress up - strollers and pets are welcome!

When the monsters finish, they will be handed a “trick-or-treat bag” so that they can walk down “Trick or Treat Alley” to receive treats. Alley sponsors are WPSD, Brandon Clifton of Allstate Insurance, WKYQ, Colgan Orthodontics, Carson Center, Dippin’ Dots, Missing Bella Rescue, Downtown Kiwanis Club of Paducah, McCracken County High School Drama Department, and Katz Law Firm. 

iSupportEveryone is encouraged to purchase hot dogs and chips provided by Atmos Energy, cookies from Banks Market, and water donated by Texas Roadhouse. Anyone over 21 can enjoy a beer courtesy of Dry Ground Brewery, Paducah Beer Werks, or other options from the Carson Center. 

The pet parade and costume contest will begin at 3pm. The pet parade is sponsored by Missing Bella. Best dressed pet will receive their own trick-or-treat bag filled with goodies just for them. The human costume contest will follow and the winners will also receive lots of great prizes! 10 & under winner will receive a surprise grab bag filled with goodies. 20 & under winner will receive two tickets to A Christmas Carol or Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. Adult male and female winner will each receive two tickets for Spamalot for the November 26 performance.

Proceeds from the event supports arts-education programming for children, youth, schools, and families throughout the Four Rivers region at the Carson Center.
