Get your team together and join Missing Bella for a fun afternoon on the golf course. This wonderful local non-profit rescues pets and provides a low cost spay and neuter program in western kentucky. The popular golf scramble is being held at Rolling Hills Country Club and takes place from 12 - 4pm. There will be a 1 pm shotgun start. A foursome is just $300 and includes lunch catered by Rafferty’s, cart, green fees, t-shirt and a player gift.
Can’t play but would like to support the event? Purchase a hole sponsorship for $100 or donate an item to the silent auction. Prizes are awarded to the 1st place team in three categories: all men, all women, and mixed teams.
Missing Bella will also be selling raffle tickets to win a new Ping G400 driver. Tickets will be $1 for 1 ticket or $5 for 10 tickets. Anyone can purchase tickets at the Rolling Hills Country Club Pro Shop.
Missing Bella Inc., received a 501c3 designation in February 2015, which has allowed them to create Dylan’s Dawgz Spay and Neuter Program. The program was launched in July 2015 and allowed people in western Kentucky with a financial need to have their pets spayed or neutered. Approved applicants pay $25 towards the procedure and they cover the rest. Since then, they have provided 464 vouchers (195 dogs and 269 cats), assisted pet owners with various needs (ie. food and supplies) and provided over $10,000 in emergency veterinary care financial aid.
“We receive donations throughout the year but our largest fundraiser is our Woof & Waggle Open Golf Scramble,” Lisa Lauck, Missing Bella co-founder, told me. “We have raised over $50,000 from this event to help us reduce the pet overpopulation in Western Kentucky.”
