“The Party for a Purpose raises funds for The Carson Center, which is a 501(c)(3) non-profit performing arts center,” said Josh Morehead, Director of Education and Outreach. “Approximately 30 percent of the center’s annual funding comes from fundraising events, contributions, sponsorships, and grants. When you buy tickets and tables – you support arts education for children and youth, performances for audiences of all ages.”

Fundraising events and contributions help the Carson Center to involve more schools and families from a range of socioeconomic backgrounds. Tickets are just $75 at the door. Most of the ticket/table cost is tax-deductible as a contribution to the Carson Center as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit performing arts center.

“The Carson Center is proud to present concerts by famous performers and Broadway musicals close to home,” added Morehead. “These are events and shows that can be enjoyed by family and friends. By supporting Party for a Purpose, you help provide complimentary or reduced-cost tickets to low-income children and families through schools and social service programs.”

“The Carson Center brings superb national and international educational theatre groups to perform for preschool through Grade 12 students in their flagship Class Acts Education Series. Funds raised at this and other events help to include children and adults with special needs in their audiences as well as providing learning activities and theatre camps.”

This fundraising event is for adults age 21 or older. Most of the ticket/table cost is tax-deductible as a contribution to the Carson Center as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit performing arts center. For more information or tickets, call Patty Pearson, Development Coordinator, at 270.443.9932 or visit
