iLove the Arts

Graves County High School Musical Theatre program presents: The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. This beloved classic will be brought to life on the stage of the Independence Bank Performing Arts Center on Friday and Saturday. iLove The Arts while traveling down the yellow brick road!

Marilyn Belford is an award-winning quilter, well-known for her realistic fabric portraits and art quilts. She comes to the quilting community after a long, successful career in the art world. The National Quilt Museum will be hosting Mythical Quilts:  The Art of Marilyn Belford through November 13. Quilted portraits full of emotion - iLove The Arts!

The Icehouse Gallery in Mayfield once again closes out the year with Impressions 2018. This is their annual juried exhibition that is open to visual artists working in Kentucky and the surrounding states. The exhibition includes entries from western Kentucky and western Tennessee - paintings, drawings, sculpture and photographs. iLove The Arts all year long!

The theatre department at McCracken County High School has already developed a reputation for its amazing productions.Their fall offering is Peter/Wendy by Jeremy Bloom. In this lyrical, atmospheric interpretation of Peter Pan, the author strips the familiar story down to its emotional essence. iLove The Arts when “all you need is faith, trust and a little bit of pixie dust!”

The Murray State University Galleries and the department of art and design is presenting Blurring Boundaries: Continuity to Change - The Women of AAA (Archives of American Art) 1936 to 2018. This wonderful exhibition abstract art can be seen at the Clara M. Eagle Main Gallery through November 1. iLove The Arts from roaring women!

Paducah School of Art and Design (PSAD) is excited to announce the opening of “Silver Celebration” - an exhibition of works in a variety of media by PSAD Alumni. The exhibition is PSAD’s first showcase for graduates of two of their Associate degree programs. iLove The Arts at PSAD!
