Death by Chocolate

Death by Chocolate

Thursday, January 17, 2019 - 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM

Crounse Hall

The Society of Women Engineers of the University of Kentucky College of Engineering - Paducah Campus Present Death by Chocolate: A semi-formal social for high-school women to gather and learn about being a woman in a STEM field, learn about the Paducah Engineering program, and most importantly, eat chocolate. At this event, the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) will provide all the chocolate treats a girl could dream of, along with non-chocolate and allergy-friendly items. There will be a time of socialization, followed by icebreakers and speakers presenting on different topics related to engineering. This is a great event if you know you want to go into a STEM field, or if you aren't sure what the whole engineering thing is about. This event is at no cost to any guests, and parents are welcome! The director of recruitment for the College of Engineering (and other faculty) will be present as well as current students to talk with. The first 75 people will receive a FREE Death By Chocolate TShirt.
